Age: Applicants must of 17 years or beyond age by December 2013. There is no upper limit on age arranged for endeavoring WBJEE 2014 excluding for Marine Engineering Course for which the upper limit is 25 years permitting to WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria.
Nationality: Applicants who belong to India and have Indian nationality can put on for the admission process.
Domicile: Either the applicant should be a neighborhood of the state of West Bengal from past 10 years constantly OTHERWISE the parents of the applicant must have been exist in the state. The period in both the cases is predictable until the end of December 2013.
Academic Requirements as per WBJEE 2014 Eligibility
All the applicants (except Marine Engineering) must have a minimum collective of 45% (General) or 40% (ST/ SC) in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics correspondingly. Applicant must have counted minimum of 30% marks in English. He/ She must have independently passed in all the subjects.
The candidates of Marine Engineering course in WBJEE 2014 must have counted a minimum collective of 60% in subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics along with a least of 50% in English at the level of Class 10th and Class 12th. Applicant must have passed all the subjects separately in order to be eligible for exam as per WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria.
The pattern of WBJEE 2014 Entance Exam will consist of three papers:
Mathematics - 100 Marks
Physics - 75 Marks
Chemistry - 75 Marks
WBJEE 2014 Important Dates are as follows:
Last date of Online Form Filling: January to February, 2014
Last date of receiving the filled forms: Last week of 28 February 2014.
